Check the Document Output log
- 3 Min.
Occasionally, it will be necessary to look into the records of sent documents, to check the contents and details that were used. In Document Output, this email log is available in a number of places where you need it most.
Locations of the Document Output email log
The main email log is available through the Document Output > Setup menu, by choosing E-Mail Log. By default, this is the full log of all documents sent by email, printed, or sent as e-document file transfer. You can filter this log to help you quickly find the records you are looking for.
However, if you are searching for documents sent to just one customer or vendor, then you can access the email log from the list page of customers and vendors, and from individual customer and vendor cards. From the Document Output FactBox on these pages, the Log will already be filtered so that only the relevant records are displayed.
Also, you may need to see a list of documents sent from the same email template. Accordingly, the Email Template Card includes a Document Output Log FactBox with a list already filtered to show this information.
Additionally, for the most common documents such as invoices, sales orders or credit memos, there is a Document Output Log FactBox on each item page.

- Correct the mistake in the email template
- Edit and re-send the email to the vendor, with an added note to explain the re-sending.
