Check your connection to the Continia Delivery Network

"How do I know if my company is ready on the eInvoicing network?"
Ester, Accountant at Cronus
Much of the necessary configuration for eDocuments is completed during the installation or upgrade of Document Capture and Document Output. However your company will need to go through a registration process to connect to the Continia Delivery Network (CDN) so that you have access to the Peppol and/or Nemhandel networks.
Hinweis
For many companies, a Continia partner handles the setup of eDocuments and onboarding to the Continia Delivery Network.
Check your own setup in the CDN
If you’re unsure whether your company is set up for sending and receiving documents and updates through the CDN, you can quickly check this in Business Central.
- Search for Continia Delivery Network Participations.
If your connection on the CDN is ready to use, this page:
- Includes at least one line for network participation, with bold green text.
- Shows the Registration Status column shows Connected for this line.
- Includes Network Profile Lines in the Network Profiles FactBox for:
- Purchase documents, if you want to send eOrdering documents – and the Profile Role shows either Customer or Both.
- Sales documents, if you want to send eBilling documents – and the Profile Role shows either Supplier or Both.
- Does not show selected checkboxes for Test Mode on the participation lines.
Hinweis
Your company could have multiple participations listed. For example, each participation can provide a different network connection for each of your company's legal entities.
Set up eDocuments and connect to the Continia Delivery Network
It’s recommended to ask your Continia Partner to guide you through the setup processes for eDocuments. The Continia Docs article on setting up Continia eDocuments covers the set up options comprehensively.
As well as completing the eDocument functionality setup, your company needs to establish network connections on the Continia Delivery Network (CDN), which is your access point for the Peppol and NemHandel eDocument networks. The onboarding process for the CDN includes a formal Know Your Customer (KYC) check, which typically takes 2-4 business days. Check the Continia Docs article about setting up the Continia Delivery Network to make sure you have all the necessary information ready for a smooth registration.
