Import credit card transactions into Expense Management

  • 3 Min.

Automatically importing your credit card transactions into Expense Management is the recommended and simplest way to keep track of employee expenses and company credit cards. It’s fast, reliable, and fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

There are two ways to import transactions: • Automatic Import: Transactions are delivered directly from your bank or card provider every day. (recommended)

Manual Import: Upload transaction files from your bank when needed.

Your available options depend on the credit cards your organization uses. Expense Management supports all major brands—Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and many others.

Tipp

In general, Expense Management supports global coverage and works with thousands of banks worldwide. You can ask your bank to contact your Continia partner about how to handle the setup, provided that your bank can send transactions to Expense Management

Request activation of a bank agreement

To activate automatic transaction import, take the following steps:

Bank Agreement Setup
  1. Select for and select Bank Agreements.
  2. On the action bar, select Request New Agreement.
  3. A new pop up window and an assisted guide will take you through the set up steps required.

Continia Support will process your request within 1–2 business days. If the details match a valid transaction source, imports will begin automatically. If not, the request will be rejected. You can track the status anytime under Activation Request Log on the Bank Agreements page.

Hinweis

For manual imports you do not need to set up a bank agreement. You can set up Transaction Template and follow the learning unit Set up transaction templates.
