Document Capture comes with an approval module that allows you to automatically request approvals for incoming documents. It also includes a full audit trail that enables Document Capture to automatically log all approval interactions and display them in the approved documents.

Approvers can approve documents in Business Central, the Continia Web Approval Portal, or both. The Web Approval Portal is tailored for employees who don't usually access Business Central but only need to approve documents.

Approvers can also be set up in a hierarchical structure in which each user has an approval limit and a senior colleague who automatically receives approval requests if a document exceeds the user's approval limit.
