Introduction

Expense Management has a mileage feature that allows expense users to submit mileages and get reimbursed. Google Maps is directly integrated with Expense Management, meaning that you need not worry about distances since they're calculated automatically by Google Maps based on the To address and the From address.

First of all, admins need to activate the Mileage module in Expense Management. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to Continia Solution Management.

2. Check if the Mileage module is enabled.

   

3. If the module hasn't been activated, select the Expense Management line.

4. Select Manage > Manage Subscription.

5. Follow the assisted setup guide, and activate the Mileage module.

After updating the subscription, you must also enable the mileage feature. You must also complete setup for vehicles, posting and mileage rates so that calculations work. Once setup is complete, synchronize with Continia Online so that expense users can submit mileages.

To activate the mileage feature, follow these steps:

1. Choose the search icon, enter Expense Management Setup, and then choose the related link.

2. Turn on the Mileage field.
