In the earlier modules, you've seen how you can improve the payment process. In the following, you'll see how Payment Management can help improve the reconciliation process as well.

If you use the Statement Intelligence functionality, you will get close to automating the entire reconciliation process. Additionally, you can set up reconciliation rules that can help discover and resolve missing payments and bookkeeping errors.

Statement Intelligence is enabled for Payment Management by default. You can choose to disable it from the Payment Management Setup page, under Usage Areas.

Note

There're no additional fees for using Statement Intelligence. However, since it enables you to do more types of transactions and because Payment Management is billed by the number of transactions, this number could rise. Throughout both Payment Management and Statement Intelligence, you'll always only pay for a transaction once.
