Using the Purchase Contracts module, you can manage virtually any type of contract or subscription that creates recurring invoices. This includes:

  • Office leases
  • Software licenses
  • Insurance policies
  • Phone and internet services
  • Subscriptions to online content
  • Network server services
  • Facility management services
  • Car leasing
  • Newspapers and magazines

When purchase documents and expenses are linked to a purchase contract, you can set up Document Capture to auto-register, auto-approve, and auto-post any incoming documents that match the details of the purchase contract. In this way, your company can save hours upon hours of manual labor and hassle.

All purchase contracts can be set up to be reviewed on a regular basis, so that you're always on top of whether they need to be renewed, modified, or canceled.

The Purchase Contracts module uses AI to detect patterns in your incoming documents and can determine if any of them are recurring and suitable for automatic handling by a purchase contract. If this is the case, a notification appears at the top of your document journal in Document Capture, notifying you that it might be a good idea to let the Purchase Contracts module handle this and similar future invoices automatically.

The Purchase Contracts module is also available as part of Continia's Expense Management solution, and users who have installed both solutions can handle all their purchase contracts in the same location inside Business Central.
